THE NICHOLAS FLACCO MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

Photo Nicholas Memorial Foundation

On March 29th 2019, Nicholas came home from college at Penn State for his birthday. The next day, he went to the Phillies' Opening Day weekend with friends. Later that night, while with friends in FDR Park, he was shot and killed by a gunman. It was the day after his 20th birthday. The taking of an innocent is life's hardest reality; the loss of a brother and son is a family's worst nightmare. The creation of this foundation is an attempt at healing while keeping his life, spirit and name alive by awarding scholarships to young men wanting to attend Holy Ghost Preparatory School or Father Judge High School.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF NICHOLAS FLACCO

THE NICHOLAS FLACCO MEMORIAL FOUNDATION IS A REGISTERED 501 (c)(3) ORGANIZATION

OUR PURPOSE

Nicholas wanted to attend Father Judge High School in Philadelphia PA. His reasoning was because his closest friends were going there; however, his parents sent him to Holy Ghost Preparatory High School in Bensalem PA where he graduated in 2017. This foundation will award a $1000 scholarship in Nicholas' name to an incoming freshman at both schools each year.

The criteria for awarding the scholarships will be based on those individuals that exemplify Nicholas' spirit in who they are.

It is our hope that as the foundation grows, we will be able to provide a full, yearly scholarship to both schools.
